Samsung Galaxy Watch Passes MIIT Certification. Apparently, the new Samsung Galaxy Watch will be released soon. Recently, two smartwatch models have passed MIIT certification.
Most likely, this is the same device with two size options. It is likely that the new devices will appear with Wi-Fi and LTE support and will be more autonomous.
To date, little is known about the new Samsung Galaxy Watch. According to rumours, they will receive 8 GB of permanent memory, which is twice as much as that of Watch Active 2. In addition, the younger version will receive a 330 mAh battery, while the older version is expected to have a larger one. Also, new smartwatches can get Bluetooth support.
Most likely, the Watch Active 2 functionality will be implemented in new models, which include heart rate monitoring, blood pressure measurement, GPS and sleep monitoring. According to rumours, the new smartwatch may be the Galaxy Watch 2 or Galaxy Watch Active 3. To date, nothing is known about the release date. However, since the watch is already certified, it can be assumed that they are ready for release. It is likely that the new devices will be introduced with the Galaxy Note 20 smartphone. Its release is expected in the second half of the year.
It is worth adding that the technology giant Samsung is creating some of the best smartwatches to date. However, they are not as popular as the Apple Watch. Therefore Samsung Galaxy Watch Passes MIIT Certification, the company should try to offer its customers more interesting features in order to increase its market share in smartwatches.
