992 Chipset Note 20 Samsung Galaxy may get Exynos. Technology giant Samsung will soon launch new Galaxy Note 20 series mobile phones that are rumoured to be equipped with the Exynos 992 chipset.
The web has information that this 6-nm chipset is under development over the past few months.
It is worth saying that recently Samsung released the Galaxy S20 series phones, which received Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipsets, as well as Exynos 990 chips of its own production. However, due to the use of the latter, the company faced a lot of criticism, since they often overheated and also quickly discharged the battery.
In this regard, Samsung, according to rumours, decided to use an improved version of the chipset in the new Galaxy Note 20 smartphones. It is expected that the new Exynos 992 will consume less power than the Exynos 990. In addition, the performance of the new product will be approximately 1-3% higher than that of the Snapdragon 865 chipset. Since this year, the Snapdragon 865+ is most likely not to be released – it’s is another reason for using Exynos 992.
Recently, in the Samsung Rewards section, an image with the Galaxy Note 20 was discovered, revealing the design of the new product. Since the smartphone does not see a hole for the front camera, it can be assumed that this device will receive a sub-screen selfie camera. Also, the physical buttons were not visible in the pictures.
And on Geekbench, a phone called the Samsung Galaxy Note + with the model number SM-N986U was recently spotted. It will operate on the basis of the Snapdragon 865+ chipset and Android 10. In addition, this mobile device is equipped with 8 GB of RAM. In the single-core test, Galaxy Note + scored 985 points, while the result of the multi-core test showed 3220 points.
According to previous leaks, Samsung may release several Galaxy Note series devices in 2020. They will receive displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of read-only memory. The flagship model in this line can be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery.
